KNOW LIMITS
Outpatient Substance Abuse Program
Program Description: Know Limits is an effective, comprehensive psychoeducational group,
addressing issues of alcohol and drug abuse and dependency and their
effects on an individual's life, livelihood, and relationships. Presented in
a comfortable outpatient setting, Know Limits is designed as a flexible,
convenient alternative to more restrictive forms of treatment. Know Limits
is licensed by the State of North Carolina to satisfy the requirements of
court-ordered substance assessments and counseling for DWI offenders.
Staff: Tab Ballis, Program Director, is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor and
a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over twelve years experience in
chemical dependency, codependency, and martial and family therapy.
Schedule: The Know Limits group meets twice a week, for two hours each session.
Group times vary with the specific schedules of group members, and
we make every effort to work around your other obligations.
Excused absences are permitted, with prior notice.
Fees: Assessment $100
Short-term counseling (20 hours) $450
Intermediate counseling (40 hours) $900
Fees for counseling groups may be billed through most insurance policies,
or a payment plan may be arranged.
